Cavalier Strategies was founded on the belief that running modern political campaigns requires a strong understanding of social media and the digital environment. Founded in 2024, we are a student-led political consulting firm dedicated to helping candidates across Virginia modernize their digital strategy and increase engagement with younger voters. As UVA's first and only political consulting club, we provide our members with unparalleled experience on campaigns while connecting them with like-minded students. Our clients benefit from fresh perspectives on how to use social media to reach new voters and authentically spread their message. We have previously worked with campaigns for the Charlottesville City Council and Albemarle County School Board, in addition to groups like the Albemarle County Democratic Party.

Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization, which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization’s contracts, acts or omissions.
